Crossflow Filtration Solutions
Cross Flow Filtration - Spiral
Why Use Crossflow?
Crossflow filtration offers the winemaker peace of mind when it comes to the removal of bacteria from wine. When used ahead of sterile cartridges on a bottling line, the wine is bottled bacteria-free and with little or no stripping effect.
The Technology – Spiral Wound Membranes
At VA Filtration USA, we have perfected the science of crossflow filtration through advanced spiral-wound membrane technology. Drawing on more than 20 years of hands-on expertise in the world's premier wine regions, we continuously refine our systems based on real-world insights and ongoing innovation in membrane performance.
Our spiral-wound membrane solutions deliver the industry's lowest cost per square foot of filtration area—significantly outperforming competing technologies. By combining exceptional membrane packing density with perfectly low crossflow velocities, we provide winemakers with one of the gentlest filtration options available, preserving the wine's aromatic profile, structure, and overall integrity.
Every VAF system is engineered with an uncompromising focus on quality protection rather than maximum throughput. We never prioritize speed over delicacy. The inherent design of spiral-wound elements enables filtration at exceptionally low transmembrane pressures, ensuring minimal mechanical stress and sensory impact.
Backed by the lowest membrane replacement costs in the industry and proven long-term reliability, VA Filtration sets the benchmark for value, performance, and wine respect.
When protecting what matters most—your wine's true expression—there is simply no better choice.
