VA FILTRATION BUYS TECHNOQUIP!8/15/2003 -- VA Filtration and Technoquip are two companies offering mobile filtration services to the wine industry. VA Filtration recently expanded their range of services by purchasing Technoquip. Technoquip is a mobile wine and juice lees filtration company with 15 years of experience in the Californian wine industry. Having three rotary drum vacuum filters (2 x 4m2 and 1 x 10m2) at their disposal, they continue to be a dominant force in the wine service industry. Both VA Filtration and Technoquip will continue to use their respective names to differentiate between the filtration services offered. Technoquip (the filtration arm of the business) will be introducing a mobile microfiltration wine filtration system (also known as cross-flow filtration) by year-end. This new microfiltration system has a revolutionary design that makes it very gentle on wine! Marcelle Tudhope has joined the staff of both Technoquip and VA Filtration as a sales representative.
